Ray Hickman has served Good Shepherd as the Interim (Transitional) Pastor since April 2019. He bases his ministry on Relational Theology, which affirms the idea that all people are God’s children and neighbors unto one another; or in other words, that we are directed by Christ to love God with our whole being and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. He has a sense of calling that leads him to share the Good News of Christ with all people, and particularly those who are marginalized, have been estranged from the church and/or who are seeking a church community. While his ministry is to lead and serve GSPC in a time of transition, he understands that part of his work is to encourage GSPC to be involved with and reach out to the community of Bartlesville.
