Haiti 2016-2017 Hurrican Matthew killed more than 500 people in Haiti when it struck in October of 2016, leaving more than 175,000 without homes, and over a million people are struggling to survive with limited resources to shelter, food, and water. Good Shepherd Church has helped to support a Christian church and school in Deye Mon Haiti led by Wilfrid Innocent since 2009. Getting food and water to this area has proved difficult due to washed away bridges and the mountainous terrain. The people of Deye Mon need food and water now. It's anybody's guess on when international aid will trickle up to the people living in this area. At Good Shepherd we can send Money-Grams to Wilfrid so he can buy food and bottled water to distribute to his congregation. We are asking for your support in this critical effort. Make checks out to Good Shepherd Presbyterian, memo line Haiti. Your monetary support is greatly appreciated.
